I am Romain Clervoy, I was born in France and grew up in Texas before moving back to France and then studying abroad in the UK. My relentless curiosity of understanding how things work led me to study engineering and begin my professional career in a space startup. After working in space I will now contribute to Tetiaroa Society’ s HONU submersible program.

I discovered French Polynesia in 2015 as a volunteer in the turtle conservancy NGO Te Mana O Te Moana where I helped monitor the green sea turtle nesting season on Tetiaroa. During this stay, I fell in love with the natural beauty of French Polynesia and the generosity of its people and knew that I would come back at some point.

The surrounding nature has been an amazing setting for me to pursue my passions of photography and diving and am looking forward to explore the Polynesian depths!
