Tehiana O'connor

Guide

I am Tehiana O'Connor, born in Tahiti, coming from descendants from Marquesas islands, and very proud of my Polynesian heritage. My education was heavily influenced by the natural environment I grew up in, where I’ve learned to care and respect everything around me.

As someone specialized in the environment field and specifically water (Master of integrated water management); for some years now, I’ve been reversing my focus on personal development, in order to gain a better understanding of myself and the world around me. Still, my heart remains dedicated to the environment, education and sharing my skills for the greater good.

In 2013, I had the opportunity to study at the University of Queensland in Australia, thanks to the AusAid scholarship I received. My English speaking significantly improved as well as my writing abilities, thanks to this amazing experience. It also allowed me to meet people from around the world through out a promotion of about thirty different nationalities.

I can be defined as a life lover, cheerful human being and caring person.

Working as a naturalist guide enhances many of my natural skills and brings me great joy to inspire guests of the Brando to preserve the magnificent nature surrounding us and to appreciate it for what it’s worth.
