Interesting facts
This perch lives in coral reefs, in the lagoon, or in the open ocean. It is present in tropical and subtropical waters in the Indo-Pacific basin. During the day, it can be seen both alone or in groups. This fish is nocturnal and disperses to find food which includes small fish and benthic invertebrates such as crustaceans and gastropods.
