This sea urchin is globulous with small spines and is green, white, red, or orange. We can find it in the lagoon, flats rich in algae, and seagrass beds between 3 and 250 feet deep. It is an herbivore that eats mostly algae and marine plants. It is closely linked with zebra crabs and shrimp. Be careful! it is very venomous and can cause very intense pain and even nausea.
